ELECTIONS Your dog park needs you!

Please consider running for an officer position. The existing officers and board members are friendly and will show you the ropes—being an officer is pretty easy, but does involve a commitment of approximately five hours per month.

There is flexibility within positions to accommodate interests or limitations. Two people may agree to run for and share a position if they can rely on each other. Any officer can have volunteer helpers.

Board

Major policy and financial decisions are made by the SPDOA Board. The Board consists of five members who have already served as officers. They are elected at the same time as officers.

There is no commitment in asking for more information; speak with any officer! More information about duties of each position will be poster at www.SegerDogRun.org.

To be listed on the ballot, send an e-mail including your name, e-mail, phone number, a sentence or two about yourself, and your dog’s name and description (that’s how many people will know you) to president@segerdogrun.org by November 1st . A photo is optional. The items other than phone and e-mail will be used on the ballot. You need to be a member to run, but can join at the time you decide to run.

Elections will be held on Tuesday, November 11th (a week after real Election Day). Ballots will be distributed by e-mail to all members and voting by replying to the e-mail will start on Election Day.
